Her Majesty’s Courts Service, (HMCS), is holding a series of open evenings across Hertfordshire as part of a campaign to recruit more people to become magistrates. The open evenings will be on Wednesday, 7th November 2007 and again on Monday, 14th January 2008. Both sessions will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Encapsulating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a pithy and concise article has proved a difficult challenge. With the debate around the business benefits of CSR raging and an increasing focus on its political status emerging, CSR can not be contained in one definitive model nor comprehended in one distinct form; it can, however, be considered as a concept or philosophy, as a long term business approach.
